The number of Iraqi dead and wounded since the U.S. invasion is America's dirty little secret. The U.S. government scrupulously avoids giving out the number of Iraqi casualties, which range from 20,000 up to nearly 100,000 dead and wounded. In my view, the international media needs to focus more on this important humanitarian issue.
