Listening Post: How would YOU improve Clear Path?
Posted by: James Hathaway
We received a comment on our blog from our friend Peter Dawson on the blog post "Is Tom Peters Right", where Tom had told me to ask more questions on our blog to encourage communication and possible ways to improve the work of CPI.
Peter said:
James most of the entries here are almost about what has happened or happening.. the various events that CPI folks do. You must also use this blog as a listening post/ sounding board. You need to engineer an Architecture of participation. Its not easy, its hard work !!
Interesting, Peter... ok... so as a "listening post", how would readers of this blog (all three of you) improve upon how we are communicating the mission of Clear Path? Or... what do you reccomend we do to advance our work.... ?

1) Seek link love - don't be shy to ask people to amplify your voice.
2) Take time to visit other blogs and comment too. Blogs are a dual pathway.
3) Open up Track-backs to see what people are saying about CPI , blogosphere is all about listening.
4) Be Provocative, you and team render opinions that are are straight from the gut. Speak out, let thy voice be heard. If its right or wrong, the community will decide.
5) Read Naked conversations :)-
I think it would be incredible if volunteers who are "in the field" could regularly contribute entries to the blog. To hear what the day was like from a healthcare worker or skills instructor that is involved in work that CPI supports would be fascinating. I'm not sure if the technology is available for them to do this in many of the locations...but it would be awesome to hear their experiences first hand, as they happen, with their emotions still fresh.
Hey there Duane... I agree... this blog is best when Lobke, Chi and Toan write! I wish they would do so more often...
Chi... are you hearing this?
Lobke? Toan?
i agree with duane. you might also think about using google maps so it could be made clear to people where these horrible things are located (i mean generally... if we knew specifically we'd be in good shape
