2005 - 2006 Landmine/UXO Victims in Central Vietnam
Posted by: Tran Hong Chi
As I opened up some excel books and stare at the figures laying neatly in rows and columns, I realized that there is a better way to view them.
I hope the charts will help you understand better the situation at present time in central provinces of Viet Nam. It is noteworthy that the figures here are just the ones that were reported to our office and we have responded to, not the official total number.

Good stuff, Chi... nice work... thanks!
Chi,
This is fantastic. Thank you for providing these graphic depictions of data - it is so helpful to see the statistics presented this way. It is so important to continue to analyze our work in order to see patterns and plan our efforts accordingly. Thank you Chi - keep it up - you are awesome.
Chi,
I appreciate your dedication and commitment in compiling data on UXO/landmine casualties in Viet Nam. No human being should ever be reduced to a mere "statistic"; every killed or injured person from these deadly devices reminds us of the futility and horror of war. Thanks again, Chi, for helping us understand the widespread problem of UXOs/landmines in Viet Nam.
